I just got new scaled babies! The shop had told me that there was no way to get any, and that they would cost at least $30 each. (thankfully, they were wrong on BOTH counts).

The guy at the shop could not locate any supplier that had any. Given the scarcity, he was warning me that the price would go up. Someone was finally able to place the order and must have decided to charge less, given their actual cost. I understand that they are very common in Asia. My guess is that the golden (albino?) dojos are more popular in our local pet trade.
