Socialism has many tiers, it is the answer if balanced with capitalism, but will always be the target of bullies, greedy and those who feel entitled. The 1% own all the power if we do not unite, we have no voice. Bernies offshoots are doing a good job gettting us shouting and elections of state and some national elections have been eye-opening

I like the idea of socialism, but the problem is that people who seek power will always corrupt it. When it becomes too top heavy, it becomes into a dictatorship. With capitalism, there is a distribution of power, but only to the initially powerful. When gone unchecked, we are basically living in feudal times. It's how royal lineages gain importance.

The way I see it, We need democratic socialism with capitalism. All of these elements keep the others in check. I like the idea of the government working for the people, not corporations, but I also like the idea of owning my own business and earning my own wealth through innovations and services. Both of these keep each other in check while the people vote on how the system is run.

I like Democratic Socialism. Capitalism is going to bring America down at this rate.
