With the controversy over the women's beach handball team, and gymnastics, this seem appropriate.
On a side note it is finally giving some notice to team handball, not beach volleyball, two totally different sports.

In Michener's The Source, near the beginning of the novel a Jewish athlete has a foreskin grafted on so he can compete with the Greeks. He survived the operation, however, his father beats him to death with a cane at his first meet.
That would make for better television!
