Thoughts in season
If 45 or someone like him, such as DeSantis, gets in in 2024, what then? I don't mean just one's own choice to stay or leave. The question is, if every trace of democracy and constitutional legality is destroyed, what can or should follow? What kinds of resistance, peaceful or otherwise, might be possible and/or advisable? To speak analogically, or allegorically, if the Democrats have denied us our Debs, we may yet seek our Lenin or our Mao, and I damn well hope we can do better than the Bolsheviks or the Chinese Communists. Assuming that we can do a goddamned thing.

I disagree due to the COVID policies of both. 75K deaths in Florida, 1 MILLION in the US. And yes, I understand that Mango Mussolini wasn't king the whole time.
