Disaster capitalism: Puerto Rico plunged into darkness after privatization of electric utility
My brother has lived in PR for a few decades now, and he has bought a house here in Iowa for when he retires in a few years. After all the hurricanes, earthquakes, and now this, I can't blame him for wanting to leave. The place is a hellhole and this latest story is no surprise.
