Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.You do have to like playing an overpowered character to enjoy Exalted, but that just means that the bad guys get to be super strong too (at least the major ones). For any RPG to be fun you need to feel like there’s something out there that can kick your ass, so you can get have something to work towards. We all like that sense of accomplishment and growth.

Indeed. I didn't see any glaring balance issues, just that I prefer more realism.
Exalted had some cool mechanics, but never really appealed to me. I'm just not that big on high-power stuff, I prefer I more toned down and realistic game. I haven't seen 2nd edition though.
