Anyone ever hear of or play a video game from 2005 titled F.E.A.R.? Recently downloaded it from GOG and have been playing it for two days now, and so far I like it. Appears to be a mixture of futuristic shooter with paranormal elements, and some of the game play reminds me of the Soldier Of Fortune and HALO games. Can't wait to see how it ends. Then I can play F.E.A.R. part 2 & 3.

@TheInterlooper Bummer. Such is the downside to downloading video games from sites other than Steam or GOG. In this case you aren't missing anything, checksum was missing from the files for F.E.A.R. 2 on Internet Archive, so it's not playable. The site MyAbandonware has some good games for free, and I heard they don't deal with malware as much. GameTrex and Ocean of Games are a few other decent sites, the latter of which is probably the best being that is doesn't force you to disable your adblocker in order to download games.
I'm still on Windows 7, so pretty much any games after 2012 probably wouldn't run on my PC.
I've heard of it but never played it. Sounds like it would be good.
