Any fans here of Halo Combat Evolved? The original was okay, but didn't care for any of the sequels (2 and 3, did not play any others). Halo could get exciting at times, some serious action, but the levels were rather bland and repetitive though, so certainly not among one of my favorite games. A few weeks ago was looking at some of the mods available for the PC version, and came across a mod called Spartan Edition which was pretty cool. Enhanced graphics and textures along with extended maps and new weapons equaled a fresh gaming experience compared to the original. I'd recommend trying it out for any fans of the franchise. Here's a link to the download, and it's standalone meaning you don't need any other version of the game installed on your PC prior to playing, and if multiplayer isn't your thing then part 1 is all you would need to download in order to start playing. WiFi would be recommended for downloading of the zip file.-
