Is there an AIRPORT in Latvia? THAT is the other critical question. Ok, I used cheapflights.com and said I wanted to leave at the end of the month. Fares ranged from $2,500 to around $3,000. Peacefulness is pricey!

@TheoryNumber3 Well, if you scheduled the trip 6 months in advance, you'd probably get a better deal. I set arbitrary dates two weeks in the future, so I got no savings. I also scheduled the trip out of the Detroit airport, and you might get a better fare out of someplace else.
Did not read the article yet but does this mean we have a home country ?

Yes, apparently there is at least one country on Earth where introversion and being reserved is the preferred style.
Lots of interesting points in it. One thing struck home with me - I really dislike people who make a lot of noise on public transport, whether they are shouting on their phones, playing games, or having loud conversations. I am really pleased when the bus is almost empty.
