A Seattle friend sent me this amazing picture of a neighbor's Monkey tree wrapped in a Lady Banks Rose blanket.

@JackPedigo. Can you please ask the neighbor to take closer images of these trees? It's not clear which is which!

? The Monkey Puzzle tree is clear. The other is a climbing rose running through and covering most of tree.

@JackPedigo I googled it....I had never seen one...and was wondering what they're like close up; I found this.

@Robecology That's a odd looking Monkey Tree. It's much too open. I had a large one in my Seattle home and a small one here and the branches are much closer together. The tree in the picture is one tree and, perhaps, the rose plant is pulling the branches even closer together. This was sent by a friend in his neighborhood. I have not seen it myself.

Posted by MsKathleenQuite frankly, most tea bags from the market are toxic, so it would be best to cut the used tea bags open and incorporate the used tea leaves into the soil. [gardeningsoul.com]

Posted by FernappleI think that the veg plot is looking good now, but sadly it will probably never look like one of my near neighbour's.
