Hi there. Thought I'd contribute on an aspect of JW. I'm a deaf guy from New Zealand. The JW's there actively target deaf people out in the community and visit them in their homes. It causes a lot of anger and resentment. Here's a story about it. [stuff.co.nz]
"Aotearoa" is a Maori translation for the name New Zealand by the way and is commonly used over there. People often say Jo Ho's not sure if that slang is used in the US. Interested in your comments about this.

It’s often shortened to JWs or j-dubs in the US. I’m not familiar with the laws over there, but over here you can ask them to put you on their do-not-call list. You can even put it in writing if you like and mail it to their headquarters. Ask them to stop bothering at you at home and they probably will. But if they continue to bother you, you might consider getting recommendations from law enforcement on how to handle them. And there’s always the court of public opinion. If you’ve taken proper steps to get them to leave you alone and they don’t, start writing about it. Maybe post pictures of the letters you gave them or video your encounters with them and ask questions until you get answers or until they leave.

Hello! I've never heard of such a thing, but I certainly wouldn't put it past them! I've reached out to Lloyd (John Cedars - youtube legend where JW videos are concerned) to see if he knows anything about this phenomenon.
