I enjoyed that article. I thought I understood from the article an implicit relationship between culture and religion that I can't quite put my finger on but feel they are somehow the same thing. I must try to find out if she expands on that idea in the book.

I finished the book a couple days ago. She goes on a mission to China and learning the language helps her break away from the cult. I’m in China now with my wife so when I read about her writing the book I had to get it!
