Do you think it is harder to come out as nonreligious or on the spectrum or are they equally as difficult because of how much stigma they both have?
Admitting to being on the spectrum was definitely harder, and it still is. Now people seem to doubt my ability on things that they never did before. At first they denied that I could be, then you see the dawning in there eyes, oh, that explains this this and this. I certainly lost some credibility.
I'm out as Autistic at work because I work with children with developmental disabilities. I only talk about lack of belief if someone directly asks me, Arizona is a conservative religious state.
