Graceless Fishing ( i. e. not flies)

For food or fun or both. Any species. Cane poles to Sea rigs. But not flies, because there is a separate and older group for fly fishing.

This striped bass has sores on it. Is anyone here familiar with fish health? I'd like to think it was caused by a foul-hooked treble lure, but it appears more internal. Smith Mountain Lake, 5-3-20.

The name of this group is kind of ironic for me because Grace was my wife's name. I'm widowed now, but still fishing. Its one of the things that keeps me going through the tough times.

Greetings! So, this will sound pretty odd. I don't fish. But, I really enjoy making fishing lures. Would that count for acceptance to this group?

Here is a group for non-fly fishermen. There's another group for fly fishing. Of course, join both if you wish. "Graceless Fishing ( i. e. not flies) Group"
