I have been pressed into service as Admin or owner or something of Riders. I have edited the group verbiage to include non-motorized 2-wheel vehicles. It is my intention to organize, at some point over the summer, a meet-up at Ft. Tilden Beach, Rockaway, New York.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I stopped driving because I might cause an accident. So, at 73 I'm looking at a Fat Tad electric tricycle for transportation and fun. There are few bike lanes, so I'll have to travel on streets. I join this group and find I'm in the middle of a controversy; in addition, I throw in another variety of 'bike.'

The controversy is over; I have abdicated in favor of the motorcycle folks. Have you ever ridden anything like that on a street before? I used to ride a recumbent bicycle (no motor) and both visibility and your ability to see are problematical. Make sure you have pennants and flashers. Take advantage of box turns until you're acclimated. Good luck!
I ride both so ut doesn't make a difference.
I shan't be meeting up with you though, as I'm 3500 miles east of New York and it's a bit too far to ride over...
