So sorry to hear of the death of Robbie Coltrane. A real larger than life character and great actor.
I heard a lovely story about him from a friend of his.
Before his acting days he was a second car salesman in Edinburgh and when trying to sell a car to David Steel, later to be Liberal party leader, about the time of the Jeremy Thorpe scandal with his affair with Norman Scott and the shooting of his dog. Robbie opened the boot of the car and said to David " You would easily get a body in there David"
