Snowpocalypse Vermont... are you ready?

I get exactly one Vermont tv station... WCAX because I don't pay for cable tv. A cheap-o digital antenna supplies local news, for the most part.

Tonight I got home "early" after running errands, so thought I'd tune-in to news. I haven't kept track, but I suspect there's been about 10 minutes devoted to the coming snow storm tomorrow.

Do tv news anchors always go on about the first storm of the season?

I built and placed five (cheap about ten bucks each to build) antennas in the attic and now pick up two dozen TV stations.
In ND, first snow storm news usually does not take much time to talk about.

I'm renting. My landlord asked me to stay out of the attic.

@ailurophile Before I got around to placing the antenna arrays in the attic I built one (eight element bow-tie antenna) hot glued it behind a large painting and and hung it by the television. Although not as good as in the attic, it did give me a few more station then a cheap 25 buck standard (amplified indoor antenna) [m4antenna.eastmasonvilleweather.com] You don't need to buy a kit parts cost only a few bucks to build from scratch.

@NoMagicCookie Thanks! I'll get started as soon as the tendinitis in my thumb eases up.
