Finally have enough greens to do a Tree of Life quilt. This is one potential set for the "leaves", the other possibility is the same design but done "scrappy" with the greens in random places. Suggestions welcome.

I like them.
The photo makes it look like they are floating/on the ceiling, I know it is the shadows doing it but it is really weird

99% of the time quilt seams are pressed to one side as these were as opposed to garments which are more often pressed open. They are small blocks with 1/8 inch seams and the bulk caused them to not sit flat on the table. Less weird now? 😉

@MizJ Nope still think they are floating sometimes they appear to be on the ceiling and I am looking up at them. Probably just my weird brain playing tricks on me.

Will look great no matter what you do.

less equilateral perhaps. lopsided diamonds?

That would make it far more complicated, the blocks in the photo are less than 6 inches long, there will be lots of them.

@MizJ I'm sure it would be more trucky, but what tree or life isn't? just a consideration.

Nice fabric selection.
