This is a fun little guy that I did at "carving camp" one summer. The cut blank was for a little rabbit and someone gave it to me. The challenge is always to see what I can make from a pre-cut shape besides what it was originally intended for. This little, hairy burro is what I came up with. The battery is a AAA, for scale. He has one eye, the other is mostly covered by hair. He lives on a shelf with Oscar the wiener dog.
Nice. I like the ears. He reminds me of Pinocchio for some reason.
