Born and raised in the deep south, my path away from indoctrination and organized religion has been a long one. I'm a firm believer in being a good human for the sake of yourself and others, not because it's written in a book somewhere and you feel obligated to do so. Aside from being an atheist, I am heavily invested in science and I am a part of The Satanic Temple. It is not a theistic organization, merely one that seeks to garner and maintain equality for all.
