I live off grid without TV or radio on 6 acres of rainforest nearly a mile over rough Jeep trails from the nearest paved road. Both of my dogs passed away from old age and I miss them very much, but I still have chickens and a duck named Daphne.

I worked as a nurse for many years and got into photography after retiring from nursing. I delivered my son at home, and became a single parent 6 months later. I moved to Oahu and raised my son on the North Shore till he was 11 then moved to the mainland so he could meet and be around family.

I have traveled extensively in Canada, the states (every one but Alaska) and Mexico, visited Colombia, South America and spent 5 months in Europe camping in Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, and Holland.
