I’ve been back in the UK for four years now, following six year’s adventures in New Zealand and now I’m back, I’m ready to start again.
I retired from my primary career in 2007, after almost 40 years in NHS mental health management and service development around England. I then emigrated to NZ where we developed, from scratch, a luxury 5 star tourist lodge.
After briefly sampling full-time retirement, I returned to work in a totally different role to finance a property project that should complete before the end of 2018. I can then return to my retirement plans.
I have two grown-up and successful children who have produced five grandchildren aged between 3 and 25, I try very hard to keep involved with family - including my two brothers and their families.
Although currently living in Worcester, I’m not averse to meeting someone further afield, as a life-long nomad, travel is never a chore.
I get my kicks from live music; gigs, concerts and festivals. Cinema and film are popular pastimes (my son is a Grammy nominated director). I enjoy all aspects of food and drink, and I like to cook too.
If you have a rebellious streak, maybe a Bohemian outlook and are not averse to spontaneity, then these are definite plus-points!
If you might like to find out a little more, I’ll be very pleased to read your message. The personal information included in my profile is honest, yes I really am 68 - I can’t believe it either!
By the way, as a left-leaning socialist, I am probably incompatible with readers of the Daily Mail, Express or Telegraph; likewise with those who vote for, or support, the current Tory government.
