My name is Sherry, and I live in the mountains of North Carolina. Although I was brought up going to church as a child, my mother taught me to be open-minded and gave me the freedom to choose which religion I wanted to follow. I studied quite a bit about the world's most popular religions, and found that not one suited me. I do actually follow some of the beliefs of Buddhism, but I definitely wouldn't say I'm a Buddhist. My belief is that maybe we're all wrong. Maybe there is no God (or gods) or any entity that created us. Then again, maybe there is, but I certainly don't believe it's at all the way it is described in the Christian bible. I tend to think the truth is far more mind-blowing than anyone can imagine. I am a strong believer in the paranormal (ghosts and reincarnation) as I have had my fair share of personal experiences.
