Things I find fun:
Videogames
Board games
D&D
Netflix binges
Social gatherings at someone's house with food/alcohol and some combination of the above.
.
.
Things I enjoy in moderation:
Dinner / Movies / Date night activities
Things that most people file under "adventure" like going out to hike or bike or doing other "up and about" style activities like walking around downtown or somewhere scenic.
More "special" events like going to a museum or art gallery or concert.
.
.
The relevance of the above is that despite being pretty open-minded about activities and what I do with my time, I do in fact have a "bread and butter" to my existence. And that revolves heavily around interactive media and passive media. Some people go for a bike ride or walk or hike on a daily basis and their idea of a good time and a good life and a good relationship is getting to go out and do stuff like camping or backpacking as often as humanly possible. Some activities like hiking or biking I could see getting into as a somewhat frequent activity, few times a month. Some things like hardcore backpacking, actual camping, maybe a few times a year. Really depends on the person and the circumstances.

I'm looking for someone who's at least in the ballpark of a 50/50 overlap in how they want to spend their freetime. Some people have strong feelings about wanting or not wanting someone they have everything in common with. I do not. I'm fine having separate interests and hobbies that somewhat overlap enough to enjoy time together with that person. I'm also happy to have someone that I spend most of my time with and share most of my hobbies and interests. Please note that I will not be having children and have already taken steps on my end to ensure this. So if you're looking for someone to have children with we are definitely not compatible.

.
The core things in my life right now in no particular order:
Work
Maintenance of household - cooking cleaning laundry etc
Cats (2 cats they basically they get fed and loved and their box scooped and that's about all they need but I love them)
Indulging in things I find fun.

I make wine for fun, I build things (nothing in particular, just whatever needs building, shelves, little tables, weird stuff for a single use purpose), I tinker and fix things (depending what it is and how fucked it is), and I'm always looking for something new and interesting to get into that gets those critical thinking skills going. I enjoy science from a high level perspective: Don't ask me to solve formulas, but I'm actively captivated by everything going on in the world of science, from the astrological, to the biological. I enjoy nature, though I'm allergic to a lot of it so I don't spend a ton of time seeking out trees and flowers to pollenate my nose with.

I'm here looking primarily for single people for monogamous relationships somewhat local to my listed location.

I am respectfully not here for any sense of community or desire to connect with people based on a similarity in faith or lack thereof. While being "too religious" is too a deal breaker on other sites and this site elimiates that as a factor. I do not consider my feelings on faith to be a part of who I am. Some people use lack of faith as defining traits of who and what they are. I do not. I define myself by what I do and what I believe not what I don't do and what I don't believe.
