I am married and a father of 3 adult sons. I grew up in Pittsburgh during the Steelers glory years. I went to college in Nashville and then joined the Marines. I finished my undergraduate degree while on active duty. I was indoctrinated as a child. Both of my grandfathers we're ministers. My mom sang in the church choir. My dad was an Elder. My best friend in high school was Jewish. I asked my minister about him. He said that if he did not accept Jesus he could not be saved. That was the beginning of my move to atheism.
