For the most part, I've been lucky. My friends and family are not very religious at all. If they are religious they don't force it on you, except my sister. My sister posts some bat shiz crazy stuff. "Thank Jesus it's Friday. Pray for Jesus!" and a whole bunch of "Texts from Jesus". What? I mean really, WTH are you talking about? Texts. From whom?

I had to unfollow her. I just couldn't stand the whacked out posts anymore. She's still in my friends but I don't see her posts.

What would you do if you were in my situation? Do you have any stories about how you had to distance yourself from family because of religiosity?

Are you close to her in other ways or just because you feel you should not delete her from your friends list

She's my sister. At one point we were close but anymore just because we're family. It irritates me but I have enough leeway to give her some slack.

@CK-One well good luck with that

My mother and one of my brothers are both religious to some degree, yet they do not post very much about their believes or try to influence others so I really have not encountered that problem with them.

Yes. My dad's side are obnoxious protestants and my mom's side are fanatical catholic. My mom doesn't know how to use Facebook and I deleted everyone except one cousin from my dad's. I unfollowed her years ago because she was posting bible verses and jesus things a lot.
