This is the Iron Will Report for the week ending February 9th.

In this week’s report, Trudeau is being sued; MAiD deaths in Canada now surpass 60,000; the largest cyber attack in Canadian history steals 26 billion records; evidence the UN participated in the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel; the real origin of RSV, or respiratory syncytial virus revealed; an 11 month old dies after being forced to wear a mask; and the RCMP goes woke.

Those and thirteen more stories that mainstream media won’t report and our government doesn’t want you to hear.

There’s an expression my older brother taught me years ago, “You know the ship is sinking when the rats head for shore”.

In the wake of Justice Robert Mosley’s January 23rd ruling which found Trudeau’s use of the Emergency Measures Act to shut down the Freedom Convoy in 2022 unconstitutional, Justice Minister David Lametti has resigned.

Lametti was appointed to his position by Trudeau after the Jody Wilson-Raybould scandal, in which Raybould, also appointed by Trudeau, resigned in 2019 after Trudeau interfered in the SNC Lavalin investigation.

Lametti released a resignation letter two days after Justice Mosley’s decision in which he said he’s leaving his role to join the law firm of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin. Lametti said he’s “proud of the role” he played during the Freedom Convoy protest, but made no mention of the federal court’s ruling, possibly due to the fact that Lametti joked about bringing in tanks to break up the convoy.

His exit is not an isolated event.

It follows the departure of Liberal MP Carolyn Bennett, who quit in December.

Bennet had been a Liberal MP for 26 years, serving as Minister of Public Health from 2003 to 2006, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs from 2015 to 2017, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations from 2017 to 2021, and Minister of Mental Health and Addictions from 2021 to July 2023.

Most recently, she served as Associate Health Minister from 2021 to July 2023.

Bennett gave her last speech before parliament on December 12th, warning of the growing spread of “misinformation” in Trudeau’s government.

It also comes one day after Liberal MP Ken McDonald openly challenged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s leadership and called for a party-wide vote to reassess their confidence in him. However two days later, McDonald retracted his statements.

Perhaps Lametti and Bennet don’t want to go down with Trudeau’s ship?

Several challengers to the Emergencies Act say they’re preparing to sue government officials and financial institutions after the Federal Court’s recent declaration that the invocation of the act was not justified.

Military veteran Eddie Cornell, police veteran Vincent Gircys, and Alberta contractor Jeremiah Jost said in a Jan. 29 statement on X that they will sue “those in government, the financial institutions who froze people’s bank accounts, and the police officers who beat up and injured innocent Canadians”.

After the government declared a public order emergency on February 14, 2022, the RCMP provided a list of entities to financial institutions and asked them to freeze their accounts. Financial institutions were also told to use their own risk detection methods to freeze the accounts of other entities deemed to be involved in the protests.

Then-deputy finance minister Michael Sabia testified at the Public Order Emergency Commission in late 2022 that 257 accounts were frozen based on the RCMP list and 23 based on the financial institutions’ own determinations.

The Canadian Constitution Foundation, which won the case against the use of the EMA, has published an excellent summary of the reasons why it was unconstitutional. You will find a link to that document below this video.

A recent Fraser Institute report shows the devastating financial impact of Trudeau’s government on Canadians.

Canadians will shell out more than $1,750 per person on government debt interest this year, for a total of nearly $82 billion coast-to-coast, according to the report. The federal government’s portion of the debt comes in at $46.5 billion this year—totalling 10.2 percent of federal revenues, the study said. That means Ottawa is currently spending more than 10 cents of every tax dollar it collects on interest payments. In aggregate, the provinces and federal government are expected to spend $81.8 billion on interest payments alone in 2023/24.

Residents in Newfoundland & Labrador face by far the highest combined federal-provincial interest payments per person at $3,225. Manitoba is the next highest at $2,728 per person.

The federal government will spend $46.5 billion on debt servicing charges in 2023/24, which is nearly what the government expects to spend on the Canada Health Transfer ($49.4 billion), and significantly more than it expects to spend on childcare benefits ($31.2 billion).

Combined federal-provincial interest costs in Ontario ($31.5 billion), Quebec ($20.3 billion), and Alberta ($8.6 billion) are nearly as much, or more than, what these provinces will spend on K-12 education this year. Meanwhile, combined federal-provincial interest costs for British Columbians ($9.6 billion) are higher than what the province expects to spend on its social services.

But it gets worse.

The Trudeau government is expected to collect nearly a half-billion dollars in sales taxes on the carbon tax this year alone. On January 23, the Budget Office acknowledged that a five percent federal Goods and Services Tax on the carbon tax will cost Canadians $486 million despite repeated claims by Liberals that the carbon tax is “revenue neutral.”

Neutral. They use that word a lot. Revenue neutral. Carbon neutral. Some things are poetry in motion. Trudeau’s government is gibberish in neutral.

A 33 percent increase in mandatory security fees will cost air passengers millions more than originally estimated, says an Access To Information memo. The finance department claims the Air Travelers Security Charge merely recovers costs though data show it generates a substantial profit for the federal treasury.

“The Department of Finance estimates revenue from the increase to Air Travelers Security Charge rates will total $1,248,000,000 from 2024 to 2028,” said the May 9 memo.

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland in her 2023 budget raised the mandatory charge 33 percent from $15 to $20 on round trip domestic fares. The charge on U.S. flights increased from $13 to $17 and on overseas flights from $26 to $34 effective last May.

“The Air Travelers Security Charge provides revenues to offset expenses associated with the security screening of air passengers and their baggage,” said the memo.

“I wish I could say these increases in fees would lead to better service for both the airlines and passengers,” Jeff Morrison, CEO of the National Airlines Council, testified at 2023 hearings of the Senate national finance committee. “I cannot say that. For example, with the increase in the air security charge, that is money that goes into general revenue”.

The charge was originally introduced in 2002 to finance security upgrades following the alleged 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The latest public data has left an anti-euthanasia advocate believing the all-time Canadian assisted-death total has surpassed 60,000.

The Eighth Annual Report of the Quebec Commission on End-of-Life Care indicated there were 5,211 reported euthanasia deaths from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, up from 3,663 in the previous year. This brings the all-time total of reported euthanasia deaths to 15,997 in Quebec alone. This 42% increase in Québec euthanasia deaths in 2023 meant it comprised 6.8% of all deaths in the province. The report also indicates that from April 1 to June 30, 2023 the number of reported Quebec euthanasia deaths increased by another 24%.

The findings were reported in a blog post by Euthanasia Prevention Coalition executive director Alex Schadenberg. He said it was “shocking” that in the past year, 15% of Quebecers who received euthanasia were not terminally ill and that Quebec led the world in its percentage of medically-assisted deaths.

Wrote Schadenberg, “Based on euthanasia data from Quebec, Ontario and Alberta, I predict that there were approximately 16,000 Canadian euthanasia deaths in 2023 and more than 60,000 euthanasia deaths since legalization. There were 13,241 Canadian euthanasia deaths in 2022,” accounting for 4.1% of the national total.

Schadenberg says that "Euthanasia is out of control in Canada," and cited some headlines from 2023 to back his case.

In December, a BC cancer patient died by euthanasia after BC Cancer couldn't provide him chemotherapy. B.C. has been shipping cancer patients to Washington State after bill C 36 gutted their health care system.

In October, Bill C-314, to prevent euthanasia for mental illness was defeated. Also in October, Health Canada reported that 13,241 assisted deaths in 2022 representing 4.1% of all deaths.

In August, a Vancouver woman was offered euthanasia as a "treatment" during a mental health crisis.

In July a Canadian military veteran slammed the Canadian government for the euthanasia deaths of veterans with PTSD.

In June a Canadian quadriplegic woman was approved for euthanasia as she waited for approval for disability benefits to enable her to live.

Also in June, Dying with Dignity launched a campaign to force the Delta Hospice Society in BC to provide euthanasia. By December, the BC government expropriated property from the Catholic hospital to build a MAiD facility next to the Hospice, while stealing their facility without recompense. In January a Vancouver doctor euthanized a man who was deemed to be incapable of consenting.

In February, Canada's Special Joint Committee on Medical Aid in Dying issued a report calling on parliament to extend euthanasia to "mature minors". This would leave Canadian children as young as 12 able to be euthanized without parental consent.

In January 2023, the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition reported on Tyler Dunlop who was homeless and seeking death by euthanasia. Two of the Coutts Four have finally been released.

Coutts Four members Jerry Morin and Chris Lysak have accepted a plea deal in their conspiracy to commit murder case. The Coutts four were arrested in February 2022, during the Coutts border crossing protest in Alberta. They were charged with conspiracy to commit the murder of a police officer on the basis of circumstantial evidence and have now been in prison for just days shy of two years, without, up until now, a trial.

A publication ban remains in place, denying the public some details on the trial. However, the verdict was reported on social media.

“The word from the attendees of the trial is that the conspiracy to commit murder on RCMP charges have been dropped” tweeted investigative journalist Mocha Bezirgan on Tuesday.

On the other hand, Bezirgan said Coutts Four member Anthony Olienick has a new lawyer, which has delayed his trial until February 20.

Chris Lysak pled guilty to a restricted weapons charge, meaning that, like about a million other Canadians he owns an unregistered restricted firearm, and Jerry Morin pled guilty to a conspiracy to traffic a firearm charge, which means he wanted to sell a gun.

According to Ray McGinnis, a Senior Fellow with the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, denial of bail in Canada is rare. People charged with serious crimes routinely get bail, even people charged with the first-degree murder of a police officer, as happened in the 2021 case of Umar Zameer, a 31-year-old Toronto man who had been charged with the murder of veteran Toronto police constable Jeffrey Northrup.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the political maneuvering here. Trudeau needed justification for the Emergency Measures Act, which is only supposed to be invoked in cases of a national emergency. But the Freedom Convoy by mid-February of 2022 was only in Ottawa. While that might have been a threat to Justin, it was hardly a national emergency.

The evidence against the Coutts 4 was circumstantial at best, with a number of people who were at the protest believing the guns were planted by the RCMP, although that has not been proven. The RCMP only started their investigation of the four men on February 10th. Then, just after midnight on the 14th, just four days later, executed a search warrant that ‘found’ fifteen firearms, ammunition and body-armor with a Diagolon patch in three trailers near the site of the protest.

Diagolon is a joke started by Canadian podcaster Jeremy MacKenzie, who himself spent 10 weeks in prison for saying things Justin didn’t like. But Diagolon too was weaponized, with mainstream media and the government claiming they were a domestic terrorist organization committed to the violent overthrow of the government.

Later on the same day as the search, Trudeau invoked the EMA, and under the authority of the EMA, police shut down the Coutts protest the day after, on the 15th. So in the span of only four days, while Trudeau in Ottawa is seeking political and public support for violating our constitutional rights, four men in far away Alberta are conveniently charged with conspiracy to commit the murder of a police officer, in association with the second largest trucker protest in the country.

How convenient for Justin. Now he could claim the truckers were dangerous rebels forming armed militias across the country, ready to open fire on police at any moment.

Said four men are then held in prison for almost two years, without bail, with a publication ban on their case, and denied the speedy trial they should have had under their rights.

Chris Carbert and Anthony Olienick remain in prison, awaiting their own long overdue trials.

Despite several attempts over the past two years, I’ve been unable to secure an interview with the Coutts 4, even by phone from the prison.

A couple of years ago, Klaus Schwab and the WEF started sounding the alarm on cyber attacks, calling them the next existential threat.

Kind of like how they warned us about pandemics.

Now, according to a January Global News story, Canadian cybersecurity researchers are voicing concern and urging people to be vigilant after reports that a staggering 26 billion records have been exposed in a “supermassive leak”.

According to the organizations CyberNews and Security Discovery, data from popular platforms including LinkedIn, X, Dropbox and Adobe has been exposed in what the research team refers to as the “mother of all breaches”.

Researchers suspect there is likely a “high number” of duplicates in the leaked data, which helps to explain the 26 billion figure in a country with only 40 million people.

Canada Research Chair in Security and Privacy Natalia Stakhanova called the amount of likely duplication in the information making up the reported 26 billion records “concerning”.

“It’s possible there are numerous entries for the same username, which is also something to be concerned about because additional information becomes available. That allows you to build a bigger profile on a user.”

I have voiced my opinion in the past that the armed conflicts currently happening around the world, including the Israel Hamas conflict, are being provoked by the globalists to create fear and instability.

And now we have proof, or at the very least, strong evidence.

The UN relief agency operating in Gaza said Friday that Israel had accused some of its staff of being involved in the October 7 attacks, and that their contracts would be “immediately” terminated.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said Israeli authorities provided the agency “with information” alleging several of its employees participated in Hamas’ murderous rampage into southern Israel, when the militant group killed at least 1,200 people and abducted more than 250 others.

Israel’s relations with the UN have deteriorated in recent months, after the organization’s senior officials repeatedly condemned the country’s military approach to the war in Gaza.

In December, Israeli diplomats lashed out when UN Secretary-General António Guterres invoked a rarely used but powerful tool in his determined push for a ceasefire. At the time, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said the UN chief’s tenure was “a danger to world peace” and that his call for a ceasefire in Gaza amounted to supporting Hamas and the October 7 attack.

So the globalists, through U.N. agent provocateurs, start a war against Israel, then they push woke idealogy around the world to convince the gullible and woefully uninformed that Israel is the enemy and poor Hamas is just misunderstood. They do this while the very agency that helped start the war condemns Israel on the world stage for defending themselves.

As Israel’s offensive enters its fourth month, entire neighbourhoods in Gaza have been wiped out, critical supplies are dwindling, and more than 2.2 million people face starvation, dehydration and deadly disease.

As I’ve said before, there are no good guys here. Just innocent civilian victims suffering and dying for the globalist agenda.

Researcher and truth teller Steve Kirsch recently engaged a professional market research expert, Leonard Murphy, to do a survey about vaccine injuries and deaths in American households. Leonard created the survey with some input from Mr. Kirsch, who funded it out of his own pocket. The survey list used was from a third-party professional firm and therefore not biased in any way.

1,000 American households were surveyed. The survey demographics were chosen to be representative of the average American household.

Of the 1,000 households surveyed, 194 reported a death in their household since 2021 and of those, respondents believed that almost half of those deaths were caused by the Covid vaccine.

But here’s the truly alarming statistic:

Only 22% of the 194 people who died were over 60! In the US, normally about 75% of all deaths are those 60 and older. This means that absent the influence of the vaccines, the survey should have found that only 25% of the deaths were in people under 60. But the survey results show the opposite, that 78% of the deaths were in people under 60.

Since the vaccines will not behave differently in different populations, we can assume the same numbers here in Canada.

Steve does admit the results may be slightly skewed, in that it was an online survey and therefore more younger people would have been inclined to answer it, but that would not explain such an extreme result.

Kirsch also recently published data from VAERS proving that the Covid vaccines cause dementia.

Steve claims his search of VAERS to prove this took only minutes.

Here is the chart of VAERS data that Steve pulled as of December 29th. The Covid shots account for 1000 times as many cases of dementia as the average vaccine. Critics have already attacked Steve’s findings, claiming that the high level of dementia related adverse events is due to the high number of Covid shots administered.

Kirsch countered that with the fact that while hundreds of millions of Covid shots have been administered in the U.S., Americans over the years have been injected with literally billions of flu vaccines. As you can see here, flu vaccines do not appear to cause dementia.

As further evidence of the dementia connection, Steve also pulled data on metal poisoning from vaccines, which the Covid shot clearly does not cause, or at least it causes less than many other vaccines.

I’ve known about this connection for over a year now, ever since my January 2023 interview with Dr. Stephanie Seneff, which shows that the spike proteins cross the blood brain barrier, where they damage brain cells, and essentially cause vaccine induced Alzheimer’s. That interview can be found here, titled Deconstructing a Bioweapon.

Strong evidence is now emerging that the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic was actually the result of vaccines administered to soldiers in Europe. Vaccines, the development of which was financed by the Rockefellers. I may be producing a future special report on this.

In the wake of the Covid narrative, we are now being subjected to fearmongering over RSV, or Respiratory Syncytial Virus. In humans, RSV causes mild, cold-like symptoms but may be severe in a very small number of people, especially in infants and older adults.

But where did RSV come from?

Polio viruses for the production of polio vaccines have been cultured on monkey kidney tissue and cell lines since their introduction in the 1950s. These are naturally infected by monkey viruses and other microorganisms. They cause, and/or are a co-factor in, a variety of cancers and other diseases.

On the list of diseases found in these monkey tissues is coryza virus, which was later renamed to, you guessed it, Respiratory Syncytial Virus.

And now Pfizer has an mRNA vaccine for RSV. What could possibly go wrong?

On 21 August 2023, the US Food and Drug Administration approved Pfizer’s ABRYSVO vaccine. It is the first vaccine approved for use in pregnant mothers to prevent lower respiratory tract disease caused by RSV.

Two days later, on 23 August, ABRYSVO received a European Union wide marketing authorisation for use in adults 60 years of age and older, and mothers during pregnancy.

In November, the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency approved ABRYSVO for both pregnant women and older adults. The approval came after the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation recommended in June that the UK introduce routine RSV vaccination for both babies and those over 75.

Then, just over a month ago, on January 4th, Health Canada approved ABRYSVO for use in adults 60 years of age and older, and pregnant mothers.

Governments should endorse a global moratorium on mRNA vaccines until all questions about their safety have been thoroughly investigated, according to the authors of a new, peer-reviewed article on the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine trials and the global vaccination campaign published last week in Cureus, the Journal of Medical Science.

The authors surveyed published research on the pharmaceutical companies’ vaccine trials and related adverse events. They also called for the COVID-19 vaccines to be removed immediately from the childhood immunization schedule.

After the first reports from vaccine trials claimed they were 95% effective in preventing COVID-19, serious problems with method, execution and reporting in the trials became public, which the paper reviewed in detail.

Co-authors of the paper include Stephanie Seneff, Ph.D., Jessica Rose, Ph.D., Steve Kirsch and Dr. Peter McCullough, as well as 4 others. The paper details the vaccines’ potential serious harms to humans, serious issues with vaccine control and processing, the mechanisms behind the long list of adverse events, the immunological reasons for vaccine inefficacy and the real mortality data from the registrational trials.

I received an email from Dr. McCullough last week, introducing me to Nathaniel Mead, an epidemiologist and the main author of the paper. In an Iron Will Report exclusive, you can view my full in-depth interview with Nathaniel this coming Sunday.

When we were told that the mRNA shots would stay in the arm, it wasn’t just a mistake, it was another outright lie. They knew it wouldn’t, because the purpose of the lipid nanoparticle that encapsulated the mRNA strands was specifically to carry the RNA throughout the body.

Virginie Joron, a French MP, tweeted a picture from a presentation she was attending. The speaker was Özlem Türeci, co-founder of BioNTech and her slide was called ‘The Bodyhack - Bringing mRNA to the right cells at the right places’.

The image clearly shows that the cells BioNTech were targeting were dendritic cells in the lymph nodes. A dendritic cell (DC) is an antigen-presenting cell (also known as an accessory cell) of the mammalian immune system. A dendritic cell’s main function is to process antigen material and present it on the cell surface to the T cells of the immune system. They act as messengers between the innate and adaptive immune systems.

So we know from this information that BioNTech wanted the mRNA to travel around the body.

In October 2022, Dr. Pieter Cullis presented a lecture at the University of Manitoba for the Annual Gairdner Lecture - Science and Serendipity: Lipid Nanoparticles that Enable COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines.

Dr. Cullis is widely credited with inventing the Lipid Nanoparticle delivery system that ensures the mRNA doesn’t degrade before it reaches your cells. Without the LNPs, the mRNA would get destroyed long before it got anywhere near a cell and so is critical for the vaccines to ‘work’.

Cullis is also the founder of Acuitas Therapeutics who develop LNPs and whose technology is used in Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine.

In his lecture he was asked if his LNP delivery system is able to target specific tissues or restrict which tissues it stays in. Dr. Cullis said, “That’s going to be tricky. People have been trying to target these lipids, or any nanomedicine, without any success over 40 years of trying…I’ve worn out 5 graduate students on that project. The last one refused to go on unless I changed her project”.

So they’ve known for over 40 years that the LNPs wouldn’t stay in your arm. In fact, they didn’t ever want them to. They wanted the ‘vaccine’ to travel all round your body so that some of it would find its way to your lymph nodes. There, the dendritic cells were more likely to turn into factories for more mRNA.

But they kept this quiet from you because would you really go and get injected if you were told that this new technology would travel all round your body where it would be taken up by all types of cells, including spleen, liver and ovary cells, which would then be instructed to produce a spike protein created in a lab somewhere, causing who knows what side effects because the trials were cancelled early because it just wasn’t fair that the placebo group hadn’t been given mRNA.

The U.S. CDC didn’t send an alert about a connection between COVID-19 vaccines and heart inflammation because officials were concerned they would cause panic, according to an email obtained by The Epoch Times.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2021 drafted an alert about the risk of heart inflammation, or myocarditis, resulting from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. The alert would have been sent through the CDC’s Health Alert Network (HAN), which goes to state and local officials, as well as doctors, across the country. But it was never sent.

The email obtained was written by Dr. Sara Oliver, a CDC employee. She was corresponding with an employee of either Pfizer or Moderna. The employee’s name and email were redacted in the copy obtained by The Epoch Times.

It remains unclear which official or officials decided not to send the alert at the time, when doctors across the country were seeing patients with myocarditis report to emergency rooms with chest pain and other symptoms.

U.S. authorities identified myocarditis and a related condition, pericarditis, before the vaccines were cleared as events that could be caused by the vaccines. People who received the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines began reporting myocarditis and pericarditis to health authorities and the vaccine manufacturers shortly after the vaccines were rolled out in December 2020.

A signal in the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System , which the CDC helps manage, was triggered in February 2021, the same month that Israel warned the CDC and U.S. drug regulators of a “large number” of cases, primarily among young males.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC’s director at the time, first addressed the issue publicly in April 2021. She falsely said the agency had seen no reports and that no signal had triggered, while simultaneously disclosing that the CDC was in touch with U.S. military officials on cases among service members.

In reality, hundreds of cases had been reported to the CDC, including some that resulted in death.

A two-page draft of the alert obtained by The Epoch Times was completely redacted. The Epoch Times is working on acquiring an unredacted copy.

In 1982, Ontario passed a law requiring school children to have certain vaccines, and for parents to submit up-to-date vaccination records for their children, in order for their kids to attend school. This law was upheld by an Ontario court in 2022. New Brunswick is the only other province to have a similar law.

Given what we all have learned about the childhood vaccine schedule in recent years, that law alone is bad enough, but we also have to question how far the Ontario government might go with it. Just two weeks ago, Doug Ford’s government issued a warning to Ontario parents that their kids would be denied school entry if parents did not provide updated vaccination records.

The law currently requires that students be inoculated against nine diseases including mumps, measles, diphtheria, and polio. Children who are not vaccinated can be suspended from school for up to 20 days, and their parents can be forced to pay fines of up to $1,000.

The Ontario.ca website does not currently require the Covid vaccine for school children, but is still strongly recommending it.

But here’s the real concern. Big pharma companies are developing dozens of new mRNA vaccines. So what happens to those kids, when inevitably an mRNA vaccine of some kind is added to the mandatory list?

If you are in Ontario or New Brunswick, and have no other options for your children’s education than the public system, write to your MLA demanding these laws be removed under Section 1 of the Charter, specifically the section on the right to bodily autonomy. No government has the right to dictate what a person, and especially a child, has injected into their body.

If you are in any other province, write to your MLA voicing your concerns about this, and demanding assurance that no such law will ever be passed in your province.

Quebec, from 2020 to 2022, was the most draconian province in Canada in terms of enforcing the Covid narrative, until B.C. took the top spot with Bill 36. But Quebec seems determined to remain first runner up.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms announced the loss in court of a Charter challenge to Quebec’s curfew lockdown. Justice Mme Marie-France Beaulieu read her ruling aloud on January 30, 2024, in the Courthouse of Amos, in Abitibi municipal region in western Quebec.

The challenge was initiated by Stéphanie Pépin, for whom the Justice Centre provided lawyers over the past three years. On the evening of January 9, 2021, while driving to join a 9:00 p.m. protest against the curfew, Ms. Pépin was stopped by police and fined. It was one of the harshest lockdown policies in Canada, and Quebec was the only jurisdiction in the country to employ such a measure. It prohibited people from leaving their homes between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

Police officers, empowered by the Public Health Act, levied fines against violators ranging from $1,000 to $6,000. The Justice Centre provided lawyers to Ms. Pépin, who challenged certain sections of the Public Health Act as unjustified violations of her constitutional freedoms of expression and peaceful assembly. Her hearing took place September 18-21, 2023.

As a result of a subpoena from lawyers provided by the Justice Centre, the week-long trial featured testimony from Dr. Horacio Arruda, Quebec’s National Director of Public Health during the pandemic, and Dr. Richard Massé, Arruda’s right-hand man and architect of the Public Health Act under which the curfew was enacted.

Lawyer Olivier Séguin, representing Ms. Pépin, stated, "There have been dozens of challenges to the curfew law, but this one was different. This is the first time in Canadian history that the crafters of the laws under scrutiny were questioned under oath, and it became evident they had no constitutional basis on which to act."

The JCCF will be appealing the decision.

And this is important, because the only possible reason for upholding such a blatant violation of Quebecer’s Charter rights is that the Quebec government is planning to do it again.

In a heartbreaking story, an 11-month-old baby boy suffocated after being forced to wear a mask at a daycare facility in New Taipei, Taiwan. The mask had become soaked with the baby’s tears and mucus from crying as the frustrated child tried to reject the mask, inhibiting his ability to breathe.

Multiple local news outlets offer the same details surrounding the tragic occurrence, noting that all the children at the infant care center were required to wear face masks due to an increase in childhood colds and flu in the region.

According to surveillance video footage viewed by the parents… the incident on Monday happened when the boy became irritated and took off his mask, after which the teacher put it back on him.
At that point, the child burst out crying, which saturated the mask with tears and mucus, causing it to stick to his nose and mouth and suffocate him.

There have now been over 170 peer reviewed studies showing that not only do masks provide no protections against viruses, but that they are harmful when worn for extended periods of time, and especially so to children.

Alberta remains the only province in Canada to make it illegal to force school children to wear masks. The same law requires schools to provide in person rather than online learning.

On February 1st, Alberta also became the second province in Canada to pass laws protecting children from transgender ideology. This follows a similar law passed in Saskatchewan in October.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has announced a raft of changes affecting transgender Albertans, including requiring parental consent for students 15 and under who want to change their names or pronouns at school.

Smith said while her government wants transgender people to know they are supported, she can't countenance allowing youth to make life-altering changes until they are mature enough.

"One of the greatest responsibilities we as parents, teachers, and community leaders have is to preserve for our children the right to grow and develop into mature adults, so that they are better prepared to make the most impactful decisions affecting their lives.”

Smith also announced gender reassignment surgery is to be banned for those 17 and under.

For those 15 and under, puberty blockers and hormone therapies for the purpose of gender reassignment or affirmation would also not be allowed, except for those who have already begun the process.

Youth who are 16 and 17 can begin hormone therapies if they are deemed mature enough and have parent, physician, and psychologist approval.

In the classroom, parents would have to be notified and give consent for their child to be taught about gender identity, human sexuality, and sexual orientation.

Finally, it’s time for news from the ever weirder world of the woke, the folks who give up all identity in their pursuit of … identity.

A memo recently leaked to The Counter Signal has unveiled RCMP officers are now entitled to $75,000 towards sex change surgery.

Officers received a message from the RCMP’s Health Care Benefits team: “I am pleased to inform you that gender affirming care benefit provisions have been added to regular Member health benefits.”

“Gender affirming care” is of course the double speak term that refers to medical sex changes. It’s also used when describing giving puberty blockers to children.

The memo states that the substantial new benefit towards transgender-related medical intervention is part “of our ongoing commitment to creating a more modern, inclusive and representative workforce.”

Back in 2016 the RCMP caused an uproar when they allowed Sikh officers to wear turbans, instead of the traditional hats. Then they allowed female Muslim officers to wear hijabs.

We can only imagine where this will lead.

Effective retroactively to October 12, 2023, the policy aligns the RCMP with civilian members and Public Service employees who have been receiving similar benefits since July of last year.
