This is what kills me about economic thinking. There seems to be no long term thinking in economic circles. The norm is wring every penny out of the public now and fuck the future. It seems that the only way to shake up big oil out of their trench is revolution. Is it going to take people to rise up and do something drastic? We are starting to see unacceptable effects now of climate change and still these economic vampires are going to suck the blood out of the masses and leave them in ruins. But my question is; where are they going to go when parts of the earth are uninhabitable?

Just like it took decades for people to believe cigarettes were poisonous and killing people, the climate change deniers glom onto lies from the think tanks to keep the Benjamins flowing their way. I won't be around when life becomes pretty unbearable, but my grandchildren will be. That is what tears my heart out.
