High input agriculture has fattened the bank accounts of ag input corporation at the same time thinned that of farmers, resulting in less farms, larger farms, decreased food safety, larger farm debt, more agricultural GHG emissions, and a lot less farmers.

Most of the fresh food in Canada is coming from 1500 km. away. Some food stuff stored for a year or have been over pesticided. A big movement is urban farming, I am teaching it, coming up in the Maritimes this spring.
