I have a good sized back piece (two 4 hour sessions) that was pretty tolerable. The inside of my forearms done....again pretty tolerable. Just had my calf done in a 4.5 hour session. I almost threw up twice from the pain! Not sure if it’s because I’m 44 now and I think it had been close to 10 years since I had one? It’s also the only black/grey one so maybe that made a difference?
Same artist with all 3.

I think it varies greatly person-person. My ankle wasn't that bad, it was better than my wrist (esp as it got closer to the hand). I'm getting under my collar bone in 2 weeks... I'll let you know.

Well, only 2 tats so far. Left upper arm & right forearm. Very little pain, so I can concur on those. Some of the other areas I have no desire to have tats at. Think I'll fill up arms first.

I guess I'd concur. I can only speak from my own experience. My two tats are on my left and right upper-arms and shoulders. The one on my left side wraps around half my bicep and almost all the way around my triceps and that triceps area was quite painful.
