I know in the state of Oregon, it is legal to be nude due to a ruling of the state supreme cour, which sys that nudity is protected under the state constitution. The ruling uses mostly "gray" language, so the only really clear thing is that if you are protesting, you cna be nude, no question. Localities have gotten around the ruling, by charging nude persons with "creating a public nuisance", which only works in the cities. If you are protestign though, judges have consistently dismissed nudity charges.
