A naturist friend turned me on to Nutrogena sun screen. It's pricey, but I just need to apply it once before heading out to the nudist club or nude beach, can go all day in the sun in and out of the water without having to reapply it and have never gotten burnt. I usually used an extra high SPF of about 80 for my genitals, and 60 for early season and then 40 for later season on the rest of my body.

Things every naturist/nudist needs for nude recreation.

1. At least one towel.
2. Good sunscreen (I prefer nutrogena in tubes. Any sunscreen spray will need to be reapplied).
3. Plenty of water or other non-cafinated fluids to drink.
4. Snacks.
5. Footwear appropriate for activity level. Flip flops for beach or pool, sturdy shoes for hiking, etc...

@snytiger6 Thanks for the heads up on sunscreen. The first thing my friend handed me when I arrived at his condo was a towel. I sat on the towel all the time I was there.

@nicknotes Even "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" says the number one thing you need is a towel. Makes me wonder if Douglas Adams wasn't a naturist.
