Not really. My alone time is so nice. I get overwhelmed being around people at work all day. So, one would have to feel lonely, but I do have two dogs to keep me company.

I appreciated my alone time when I was working too but now that I'm retired, spending 90% of my time along is not making me happy, despite my two cats who are useless for emotional support 
I have big dogs, great snugglers and shoulders

I have cats. They're not too supportive
@TheoryNumber3 I liked cats a lot more before I lived with a crazy cat lady and her cats destroyed my house
@zorialoki that IS crazy. Mine disappear when anyone comes over. And do very little damage.
@TheoryNumber3 Hers (all 7 or 8 ) broke things, burnt up a desktop computer by pissing on it. We had more litter boxes than cats that were always cleaned regularly and they still thought my house was a public toilet.

@TheoryNumber3 She kept bringing them home we were up to 8 at one point

@TheoryNumber3 I am not a cat person anymore because of that, but I still like cats
@zorialoki I like all animals.. but any more than two cats and people look at you funny.
@TheoryNumber3 That is why I have dogs and beat them to the look
