The summer is short but the light makes all the difference. I visited Eagle River, Wasilla and a few other places back in 2005 with my ex. Fun trip but with the sun never really setting I just did not sleep much for the 2 weeks we were up there. Do you know a guy up in Wasilla last name Armitstead? He's my ex's brother.

Sorry - I don't know any Armitstead.

He has a great story about getting off work one day and about 2 miles from home this trail of blood starts and it leads him right to Wasilla, then to his street and finally right up his drive. His wife had a road kill moose she had dragged home and was processing it for the freezer. When I was visiting moose were a frequent sight around Eagle River.

That’s a lot of tomato seeds. (You can keep them in the freezer for years.)

I've got my seed starts going and have a few that have sprouted. My growing season starts next month here in Southern New Mexico. 😉

you still have last years crop preserved or have you sold all your sauces?/
I am truly envious. I try getting my tomatoes to harvest, but the fruit fly spoil most of mine. I spray for fruitfly but all it seems to do is attract. Every time i spray it also rains soon after. I am hoping that by planting now, I can get a good winter crop in.. Spring and summer is the peak fruitfly season.
Our Tomatoes grow slower in winter, but are sweeter for the experience. Our winter here is about 7 degrees C to 25deg C, that is about 44 F to 76 F

Have fun with that!!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
