Yes apparently the MO is the guy finds it fine to date the transwoman but when it starts to get serious or friends find out - this volatility results.
Like it was cool to date the person - but not cool to come out - so they'd rather kill them.
Although sometimes it's simple domestic violence.
And yes it's cultural.
