@SiouxcitySue some of us can definitely live without dogs, especially the little yappy ones.
@Killtheskyfairy I agree with yappy. I particularly like the strong silent type, one (medium size) which I rescued from the County Pound and was with me for 13 years. She was so quiet she refused to comply when I tried to teach her to "speak" for a treat - - - for 13 years. But let a cat walk by, she made sure the whole block was aware one was on the loose!
