I'm curious - does yoradio.com charge for running a station? How do they handle licensing? I'll dig around on their site, but would love to hear your thoughts

@kerrys it runs just like a broadcast station. We are free to stream and our APP is free. But we do have 2:00 mins of comercials every hour. I have my show Razor on Los Anarchy and I produce several other shows on both the Los Anarchy channel and Radio Combat channel. It's a good deal doesn't cost a thing and I try to play as much new music as I can. We got Warbringer coming into to debut a world wide track next week. Plus I do Grind Time! ?

@AndyFreakingFord Great, thanks for the info! So do you need a broadcasting license to do your thing there? Actually asking for a friend who mentioned wanting to do a radio show that's part talk, part music.

@kerrys I don't think so it's the internet. Yo Radio is our new platform. we spent the last few years at Dash Radio. Til we found out that DJ Skee was sharing any of the big bucks he had coming in.

I also listen to non-metal, but keeping it metal for this group

@kerrys I'm an old-school thrash metal guy Exodus will always be my favorite band! I worshipped at the feet of Paul Baloff as a kid growing up in the bay area. He is still the most metal mother trucker I've ever met! All that doom, sludge, and desert rock sounds slow.....hehehe I love all metal thou!! \m/ well maybe not metalcore..
