A zebra long wing caterpillar and several of the ZLW butterflies. The males are known to cluster on a female's pupa before she has emerged as an adult butterfly. The next picture is of two newly emerged ZLWs. The pupas, which resemble a dried leaf, are attached with twist ties to chopsticks. These are suspended until the butterflies emerged. and last is passionflowers, host plants to ZLWs and Gulf Fritillaries. A fritillary caterpillar is on the vines.

Is the Passionflower a photo from this years? Mine haven't begun to bloom yet is why I'm asking.

It was last fall, but here in Florida the passionflowers are blooming. It has been in the 70s and 80s since April.
