Earlier this year I dated a lady that I met on a dating site. She was a very religious person and made that very clear on her profile. We visited each other's homes after a few dates. All good up to this point. I then found out that her adult son lives in her basement with his significant other. Very nice lady, we saw movies, went to concerts, ate at various restaurants, went for walks in the park, and so on. The problem was our belief system and how we could not compromise. She sang in the choir, was church treasurer, and worked the soup kitchen on Wed. She traveled the world and visited every state. After 3 months or so, she told me that she didn't know that atheists were good people until she met me. I treated her with respect, dignity, and honor. She was very happy with her religious life and I'm happy as an atheist, so I decided that it was good while it lasted, and let her know that we had fun but I respected her lifestyle and in a gentleman way "cut the cord." She accepted it, and we stay in touch from time to time. That is my dating story. TGIF Have a great weekend!!!!
