Has anyone traveled to Egypt, Tunisia or Turkey in the months of December or January? Not sure if outdoor activities would be great at either destinations during that time of year.

Yes i was in Egypt in December/January . New years eve in Luxor... i had the best time, not hot..sailing on the Nile with the locals. Stayed for 15days at a coptic monastery in Luxor.. That was many years ago, I have no idea how it would be now after so much political turmoil.
You better inform yourself before travelling.

Yes, I went diving in the Red Sea one January, very hot ( for me). It was certainly ok for outdoor activities.

Ive been to Egypt in March a few times; once in November. March was hot; November warm but cool at night.

Yes, and weather will be ok, but I don't do those countries anymore. Just make sure you don't wear the outfit in your profile picture and you should be fine......

Thank you! I have read their customs and will be traveling with my Libyan friend.
