Making play lists for parties. I love imagining the state of everyone as I get them moving. If only it worked out as well as my imagination

Origami. Something about just sitting there and making a 3d sculpture out of a 2d piece of paper. It's a comfortable focus for a few minutes and then you have a thing! Your window sills fill up fast with practice (I have bags and bags of cranes and boxes and flowers and guh...I need to closet clean).

I originally started because I wanted to give my girls a craft, something to do with their hands that wasn't poking a screen. They liked it, I loved it. So now my backseat is covered in dogs and box bunnies and my dash has thatch boxes and flowers. Could be worse.

The ledge behind the backseats used to be filled with stuff. When I used to Uber, every now and then a rider would open the window while we were on the highway and become engulfed in a tiny tornado of paper dinosaurs and turtles. One little old lady thought she won something. Again, could be worse.
