Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.You'd think that with more countries and companies wanting to get satellites up there, the marketplace would be able to support more launch facilities. But we have United Launch Alliance, SpaceX, and ESA doing their stuff, China and India handling their own launches, and that's even before Blue Origin gets their New Glenn operational or Virgin Galactic starts taking their own passengers up. I guess that Russia isn't as good with their finances as they thought they were - we've been buying launches from them for the ISS resupply missions, up until SpaceX started taking over. Perhaps they were depending on selling more launches than they got?
