At the fastest current rocket speeds approx. 30 billion years... It's not a photo...

@RichieO That is certainly many many months and yes, technically it’s not a photo because they probably used some type of charge-coupled device and no film was involved.

Is anyone else thinking it’s Hawking radiation from the giant black hole at the center of the galaxy?

I don’t think so. Gamma rays are being emitted from these two bubble refmgions, not from the center of the galaxy.

It's especially amazing to consider that the chimneys stretch for hundreds of light years...and the bubbles so much further still!
