Absolutely beautiful!!

Not an uncommon sight.

@FrayedBear What part of Australia? I was on a short tour there (including NZ) in 2007. I always watch for new birds and didn’t see any lorikeets.

@EyesThatSmile NZ is a completely different country. The were very common up in New South Wales, ACT, parts of Victoria, parts of Queensland.
