I have recovered from opioid addiction (3 yr. user). It was one of the hardest things I think I’ve ever done. Last week, after 24 years of marriage I found my husband chatting and getting very close to a lady in a chat room. Blindsided and worried. The pill thing wasn’t what drove him to it. Long, sad story.

I hope you can talk it out with him, and get counseling if needed/wanted. In my own life and in others in recovery , I have seen that often with choosing sobriety, our relationships change as well. Or in some cases, they are revealed for what they truly are. He likely has been drifting away for a while. No matter the outcome of this, you have proven to yourself that you are strong, honest and capable. Never forget.
