No surprise. I am positive that as immigrants, whether legal or not they are treated very poorly by their supervisors. To the members they are little more than furniture.
I know I worked at an exclusive country club in the restaurant clubhouse. It was a part time second job. You are treated as just part of the furniture at their beck and call. Rarely would a member look me in the eye and say thank you. People with money do not impress me.
I some what doubt that trump and family were ignorant as to the immigration stasis of some of the workers back in 2013. trumps lies.
It is not just trump many employers use the illegal immigrant population to make more money for themselves. Until you hold the employer accountable this situation will continue.

Others might be employing the same tactic, but he's still the one who was nominated president while running on an anti-immigration campaign.

@chalupacabre and how did that happen again? lol I agree, I was a bit off topic (what?!?! It isn't all about me?) but we have needed cheap labor since this country was founded. I seem to remember a war . . . . .

"Making President Trump's Bed: A Housekeeper Without Papers". Before reading the article, I incorrectly thought it was a satire about 'Trumpf making his own bed', which he is certainly doing- and soon to lie in it.

Trump breaks all the rules, while denigrating other people for less...

Perhaps nobody more than his followers. After he declared that he loved the poorly educated, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that people were beaming, believing that he was speaking directly to them.

I'm not surprised knowing what hypocritical scum he is.Most rich Repulsiveklans including the Bush's hire them all of the time to keep from paying decent wages to American citizens. They are despicable.

I have always said that if you REALLY want to make a dent in the number of illegal immigrant workers in this country, you go after those who employ them. The employers don't want to pay payroll taxes, and they don't want to pay a living wage. They take advantage of people who just want to work to feed themselves and their families. They know that illegals won't bitch about being worked to death for next to nothing.
Go after the ones who profit most from illegal immigrant labor.
The influx of migrant workers will plummet.

As far as 45 goes, he's a cheap bastard, and has always tried to get away with doing everything on the cheap. He's refused to pay most laborers and vendors.
He's such a scumbag.

And it isn't just just immigrants.

Watched an interview recently from one of his casino managers, who said that's why his casinos failed - he made a habit of stiffing vendors.

@chalupacabre I mentioned his not paying vendors. I mean seriously, what kind of fucking moron tanks casinos? If you don't screw with them, they're goddamned cash machines.

I know, it just goes on and on. No more shock, we are numb to his shit. But having to touch the bed he slept in is also a disgusting job, Not many people would even touch it. His followers will just lick the sheets clean.

None of that is remotely surprising.
He's had employees who have been doing the same thing for decades.
45's always been a hypocrite and a fraud.

Like when he first started deporting immigrants, his vineyards in the Carolinas immediately has to request visas for their grape harvesters.

@chalupacabre And back when his tower was being build, he brought in illegal construction workers from Poland. They sued him when he refused to pay them.
Another of the many lawsuits brought against him for refusing to pay for services rendered. What a douchenozzle he is.

Of courrse trump will get away with this. I've seen way to many down here in Texas get away with hiring these people, treating them like shit, working them to death, then discarding them when the law comes snooping.
