I was baptized and raised a Christian by my (my was a weddings and funerals church goer who showed no signs of religiosity at all). I was "confirmed" by the C of E which was somewhat coercive but I really didn't know any better at the time. I was warned not to expect anything miraculous after the bishop bashed me on the head with a bible and that was exactly what happened, nothing. I studied science, became an atheist in my mid-, and since then have never looked back to my mythical sky-fairy worshiping days.
