It never ceases to amaze me how many archaeologists view history through clouded white man's eyes. The Australian indigenous have been cultivating cereal crops and baking bread for many thousands of years before these archaeologists could imagine.

This is not surprising. People were using wild grass seeds as food long before they figured out how to plant the seeds. They also used fire long before they knew how to make it or even store fire. Lots of technologies fall under the heading of use, then control, then make.
