Hi everyone! It looks as though I'm going to be doing quite a bit of childcare here soon. The children coming to spend time with me aren't from particularly religious households (thank goodness) but if the topic of religion does come up,what is your take on how to handle those questions. I know what I tell my sons but how forthcoming should I be with other people's kids? They range in age from 3-9

Unless the parents were all atheist, I would avoid the topic in any specific way. Though I think critical thinking and respect for others beliefs are appropriate. Most would be to young to really understand it care about most of that, though there are some curious, so who knows. That's my 2 cents.
