It has come to light that one of the reasons that Ottawa Police have been reluctant to move forward and disperse the Occupation of Ottawa is that there are quite a few members of the hardcore occupiers who have advanced military training or have been part of various police forces in Canada. Combined with the lack of reliable police intelligence on what possible firearms are concealed at the site, as was found to be the case in the hard core of the Coutts Blockade in Alberta and the presence of children in potential harms way and it is a possible shit show in the making.
The main HQ for the occupiers is not at the Parliament Buildings but located a few kilometres away and it is very much a security area for the occupiers that police do not have access to, as they have been turned away by the security personnel manning the perimeter. The HQ is under the command of two JTF2 commandos and a recently retired member of Justin Trudeau's security detail. There may be some very good reasons why the Emergencies Act is being invoked and the generally peaceful nature of the majority of occupiers is possibly just cover for the hard core running the show behind the scenes.

Taking that down would most likely need military involvement. The RCMP had this ability at time but that was ceded to the military, my brother in law was RCMP at the time of the changeover. He had some interesting tools, we set off a flash bang at his office, he had shaped charges to make and a really nice sniper rifle. I imagine a huge forensic dissection of the Police response coming .

On youtube quite a few testimonials from police not overly enthusiastic in enforcing a political party agenda.
Trudeau needs to grow some balls, swallow his pride and dampen his arrogance, and actually address the concerns of the protesters. They are legitimate concerns like the scientific/ medical justification for applying curfews and vivifying those he is supposed to represent.
He can do this by talking.

Trudeau needs to do his job and that job is to take matters into hand when the Provincial government either can't or won't do their job. This is a provincial jurisdiction and the provinces have done a terrible job which leads to the Emergencies Act being invoked.
